imo ive tried arch and its pretty alright imo, if you just ignore troons trooning out on you for doing archinstall instead of doing shit manually, you'll be fine

distrowarring but not stating which distro you fight for

 â„–35806[Quote]

Arch is troonware. Use gentoo or void

 â„–35807[Quote]

Keyed, best suggestion.
>>35798
If you're going to deal with Arch I would just go with Artix; it will still break like Arch, but at least you get actual installers and the devs hate troons. Also with anything Arch based avoid the AUR, it's has a lot of malware.

There is a 'ki page about linux, you can learn more about distros there.

The only distro I ever tried is Arch Linux - and I still use it, because it suits my needs. Gigachads use archinstall btw. Arch based distros are generally considired most effective to run Windows games. Though, I do not recommend this distro for first time because it is too minimalist, requires manual configuration and frequent use of command line, so a beginner would not like all this hassle — unless you are a computer nerd like me.

If I couldn't dissuade you, I have last warning: DO NOT USE AUR. AUR IS MALWARE. Jartycucks are constantly hijacking orphaned packages and put rootkits there. I think I said everything I wanted.

didn't the nigga who made void ask people for hentai and goon to 'p?

 â„–35810[Quote]

LINUX FROM SCRATCH

 â„–35815[Quote]

Make your own distro

 â„–35821[Quote]

>>35808
If you really want to use the AUR make sure to check the PKGBUILD, and check if it's changed after an update. Since Arch/Nvidia (I don't know who's responsible) dropped support for some older gpus, if you don't want to use the nouvea drivers you'll have to get the proprietary ones off of the AUR.

You should just get any other software that isn't in the repos off of like Github and put them into your /usr/local/bin/

dude i just got into this shit , using debian , soo far it seems alright

Soystros (do not use):
Debian, OpenSUSE, Arch, Void, Gentoo

Soyware (do not use):
Gnome, systemd, KDE, snap packages, flatpak

<the developers are heccin troons thoughever

>i dont give a shit
yeah, until you need help with something.
Why would you want to support something like that anyway? you should be participating in projects you actually agree with. Don't be a nigger like this guy OP.

It's hard to find software that isn't contaminated by the soyim, mainly because aryans don't spend their time making their heccin catpuccin neovim keybinding discord rice; they mostly just use the most bland but functional stuff.

Most distros have forums and opensource projects, see whos writing the code, see what people are talking about.

neovim is aryan btw

>Sure, it's easy. Till you want to have your display manager initiate on every boot. Have fun figuring out how to edit the .profile file bourne again shell script.
>#!/bin/bash. That's your only tip. newGOD.

Don't use kubuntu, use debian net-install instead

CachyOS if all you're going to do is game though; they have custom proton builds and what not and so on and so forth
