Just follow the manual and you'll be fine. I recommend the LiveCD iso as it makes copy and pasting easier. But you must be disciplined and not an adhd sperg. RTFM to know what you are pasting and what it does

definitely go with a "normie" config to start with. This means don't choose a musl profile or any other one that isn't the desktop one. Configing the first time is a long and tedious process but you learn a lot and you can always use a script later if you have experience when you want a fresh install.

If you already use arch and the AUR, then making the move would not be as difficult as going from windows to arch.

I think that you need to make sure you have good specs considering that you will need to compile all your software.

Also you can always use AI to help you, but make sure that it does not output a bunch of BS.
