I think China will invade only when they have their own fabs that can almost match Taiwan. As soon as they touch the shores of Taiwan, the fabs will activate a killswitch, and they'll probably get some sanctions against buying chips from the fabs left elsewhere.

I heard nvme was getting buckbroken but is throwing 300 inst for 4tb sata 2.5 worth it? How much was that shit a year ago? The best I can get for a 2.5 4tb is like ~100$ cheaper

Nothing wrong with using DDR4, actually it's very rational if you're on a budget (especially if you buy used DDR4 sticks). DDR5 only provides marginal performance improvements and isnt worth it if you dont wanna spend serious goybucks for a retarded (((gaming))) setup.
