I've had my pc for 4 years with little to no problems, I only needed to replace the cpu cooler but other then that it's been running great.

However my pc has recently been running like shit out of nowhere for like the past 2 months and I'm pretty sure it's the sata ssd dying on me problems. Like slow ass load times, performance dips, and just a shit experience overall.

I know the ssd prices are shit right now but I'm scared it's only going to get worse, so do I scam myself now or do I wait and see what happens?

Have you actually done benchmarks to see if the SSD is really the problem? If you did, how full is it? You should never really fill an SSD above 90% for daily use

Could also be your os getting bloated from years of use

Back up all your data, and I dont mean lazily check for files for a couple minutes but do a deep investigation for an hour at least as to what you need (recovery keys, soyjak folder, etc.) and what you dont need to recover (saved games, useless files, etc.)

You can back up your files with (((cloud services))), transferring with USB or NAS. Transferring with USB seems to be a great middle ground for ease and efficiency. Just make sure to properly eject and mount the USB so your chances of important files getting corrupted are way lower.
