The "empires only last 250 years" rule is complete bullshit. Don't quote it ever.
The Seleucid and Achaemenid empires lasted about that long, but 90% of empires aren't any bit close
>qin dynasty lasted only 15 years
>han dynasty lasted 422 years
>roman empire lasted 503 years, counting the republic it lasted even longer
>mauryan empire lasted 126 years
>mongol empire lasted 88 years, counting the yuan dynasty 162
>spanish empire lasted over 400 years
>achaemenid dynasty lasted 220 years

Byzantium from like 300 to 1453
it lasted like 1000-1100 years

 â„–4328575[Quote]

let's count an average for these numbers
(15 + 422 + 503 + 126 + 88 + 162 + 400 + 200) / 8 ~= 239.5 ~= 240
Conclusion: empires last about 240 years

I specifically chose stuff that lasted for both longer and shorter periods of time than 250 years just to show the variety.

a bunch of retarded niggers are all saying the USA is about to implode because it's 250 years old. they understand the rule even worse, and I see people taking the rule way too literally all the time.
