I've never understood this logic. Jaw sharpness/strength itself is a purely aesthetic characteristic with no other implication so why would "hiding" it with an equally useless and cosmetic body part, that being the beard of course, be somehow considered not fair. At best it only indicates testosterone levels, information that is also provided by beard growth.
