I think they're actually not so bad of an option for a self-defense weapon/tool, certainly better than nothing and combined with something like a pepper spray could be quite effective.

>pretty cheap
>easily carriable in a pocket of a jacket etc.
>can be used to strangle a person
>can be used to break glass
>just pretty fun to use in general
