I think the only reason I wasn't totally ruined is because I didn't use the internet very much until after I turned 18. Places like 4chan would have destroyed my mind if I started using it when I was around 13-15. I can only imagine how bad kids have it today, being forced onto the internet at a young age and constantly perused by groomers. ID verification on the internet is definitely happening within the next 15 years at most.
