From the others that are terrible, I'll have to say Thatcher. Beating up the argentinians was geggy but she liberalised the economy. I don't disagree with her selling off the coal mines and dockyards since they were running a loss but the whole point would have been to reinvest that money into creating new jobs for people, and instead nobody has touched the problem since.
