Yes, it may have a feast day, but it is not as popular or thought about like the True Cross or other relics associated with Christ, such as his burial cloth. And religions venerate weird stuff all the time, and I wouldn't be surprised if pagan religions of Europe were still alive today, pagans would be venerating a mummified dick of Achilles or something.
