If you're going to be a pisshead, at least limit yourself to no more than 3 days a week. It's still retarded to drink that often but you can at least sustain it without an escalating dependency. Once you go to 4 days you are drinking a majority of days so your body doesn't get enough time to recalibrate itself and you enter a feedback loop that gets worse and worse. Soon you find that you can't get drunk from beer or cider so you move onto wine and then at some point wine doesn't do it so you end up only being able to get drunk from spirits and eventually you just fucking die. I've seen it happen. Someone who went from drinking about 3 days a week started drinking more often and they were dead within 2 years. It's hell. The longer it carries on the longer it takes to recover and when you don't drink it will feel like you're on the brink of death.
