Have you ever notice the news headlines that reports about the private lives of celebrities that you've never even heard of
Why do they exist? I understand these writers need to keep their jobs, but who is paying them to write these articles and who even reads them at all.
There is another kind of headlines that irks me "First [person from supposedly oppressed minority demographic] to [pointless bullshit madeup accomplishment]". But I get that they are there to stroke the egos and boost collective confidence of other minorities. I just don't get the other one.
