host a web server for free best methods 2026

 â„–4211442[Quote]

fact
I even vpn tunnel all my shit to my phone when I'm away from home

So for example let's say, hypothetically, that I need a simple web server that will list some very simple information, that is a raw IPv4 address and one additional byte, 5 bytes in total per entry. That's all it does. If I had 1 MB of free server storage provided to me I could store roughly 209715 entries in it. For god's sake, 1 KB would be enough, that 204 entries. Is there any way I can get a web server with at least 1 KB for free? I don't think so. Sites like neocities.org provides you with 400 or so MBs to create a heckin' website, but that's all static data.

Listen, I already pay for a proxy. Wait, can I store data there, on one of the ports? Like, it's just some server in Netherlands, and it's static location.

Yes
You need to find a free DNS service, they exist, and then you host it, since its a comically insignificantly small webserver

I am not very web savvy.

Depends. My VPN tunnel also requires a URL, but the hardware I bought gave me a free URL.

I don't know, yet. I am just a questioning nancy.

Google sshx, you TECHNICALLY can without needing a URL, but you'll need a way to check what your device ID or whatever its called gets changed to when your ISP changes your ip

Free DNS + VPN tunnel (when away from home) + allocating one thread of CPU and 10mb of ram = easy asf

 â„–4211540[Quote]

Welp, cloudfare has a free plan. So that's nice.

 â„–4211543[Quote]

Of you could even use a old office PC or raspberry pi or even a jail broken phone (I think)

Ding ding ding. The URL will be gay and long, but it's free

 â„–4211563[Quote]

Dies the webserver need to be accessed away from home??

 â„–4211568[Quote]

If no, then 90% of what I said doesn't matter.

 â„–4211598[Quote]

Well op?

 â„–4211630[Quote]

I say boy, this is all very, very interesting.
