What people forget is that windows is a product and Linux is open source, which mean that behind windows lies a billion dollar company always making sure to update its software in order to sell it to countries/international companies and therefore people/users.

Linux only has open source support, not much else really but it's free, you just gotta fiddle with it and the average person nowadays is just a drone and doesn't know anything about coding, hell my parents and siblings didn't even know there was a coding process behind computers, they thought it was just drag and drop shite

by the way if anyone wants a really fast photo viewer i recommend oculante. it opens files in under a second and is honestly just very snappy and fast. it's open source and i've been using it since 2023 i cannot recommend it enough. basically mpv but for images
