I think there's some swamplands, yes. Heavy on the swamplands part. Not a good place to explore. Fuck ton of mosquitoes and apparently crocodiles inhabit them. It's hot and not very humid and with an island this small even if you're outside all your life you'll see it all in less than a couple years, if that.
