Think for a moment about how utterly disgusting the culture of pre-Aryan India (yes, try to somehow imagine something worse) for the conquering Indo-Europeans to have to explicitly create a racialized term for themselves and only for themselves that literally means 'the actually good people'. This happened nowhere else.

People like to say that this is because the Proto-Indo-Europeans arrived in smaller numbers when they invaded through Iran and into India and were outnumbered which is why they distinguished themselves, but then that still raises the question of why in other cases where PIEs were outnumbered they didn't invent a racial term for themselves.

Ancient Aryans explicitly exalted their moral and cultural virtues frequently, which would seem to indicate that pre-Aryan India (and probably Iran too but to a lesser degree) was so barbaric that it makes modern Pajeetistan look like Iceland.
