A half-assed attempt of reworking Sieyes's analysis of the three estates within the Ancien Regime for the incorporation of insights arising from the class theory of the French liberal school.
>The first estate, previously the clergy, becomes the state-privileged rentiers.
>The second estate, previously the nobility, becomes the state apparatus.
>The third estate, previously agricultural laborers as well as independent merchants and artisans, becomes the productive and laboring classes.
Discuss.

the 3 branches of division are basically a gay jew copy of the 3 states and the states general
i do think that only 3 is kinda le bad
Borgiousie and proletarians aren't the same
what category would the military be in?
the beurocracy? the Intelligencia?
farmers and proles have different roles
ideologies and priests do too
Military nobility and land rural nobility
Theres even industrial nobilities and political dinasties
how would they be categorized?

the role of the clergy was delegated to ideologues, philosophers, political parties and leaders, mass movements, intelectuals

I haven't looked into Sieyes' analysis but assuming the clergy is the church then they would still have their own characteristics and not just be the most protected class, right? If so then I'd say the equivalent wouldn't be as good because the church can intrinsically shape public opinion while the privileged rentiers still have to employ propaganda (with the second estate obviously playing a part in that).

>Borgiousie and proletarians aren't the same
Both include genuinely productive members of society.
>what category would the military be in?
The second estate, like they were is Sieyes's analysis.
>the beurocracy?
You never fail to impress me with how terrible you are at spelling. Again, if we're talking about government bureaucracy then obviously the second estate.
>the Intelligencia?
Do they receive state-subsidies or general favor (research grants, direct administrative influence, etc)? If yes, first estate. If not, third estate.
>farmers and proles have different roles
Not all agricultural workers own the land they toil.
>Military nobility
Already explained this.
>land rural nobility
First estate.
>rentiers become the nobility they don't serve the same role as the clergy
You're thinking about the parallels wrong. Rentier monopoly capitalists replace the clergy because both were semi-independent beneficiaries of the state. This makes them not literally the state, but parasitic with the aid of the state. In this way, they serve somewhat as a false check on the state, institutions which aren't always 1-to-1 in line with the state and ultimately pursue their own ends first, but still need the state to sustain their wealth and power.

Rentiers now and clergy then share a status as quasi-independent beneficiaries of state power. Johnson and Johnson may not agree with everything the FDA does, but its still maintains monopoly status due to state-afforded privileges. Similarly, the clergy were given a state-charted monopoly forms such as land grants, tax exemptions, and the distinction of being an effective corollary to state power. They are seemingly independent of the institutions which demand tribute from producers, but they are systemically encouraged to defend such plunder because it sustains their monopoly status.

I'd say that, like the clerics of old, the modern iteration of the first estate would be concerned with defining and maintaining a specific morality, so something like academics and those fags who tell you how much of a heccin chud you are.

This is a common redefinition of the first estate, but I contend that court intellectuals and legacy journalists are just one faction within the first estate. My reasoning is here:

Sure thing me thinks, I've never really heard much of it here, but what do you think of NRx? They separate the right wing into the 3 estates, the clergy would be the religious and conservante right, the nobility would be the militaristic and nationalist right and the merchants would be the capitalists and libertarian right, only with the balance of the three can a society prosper, it's symbolized with the trinity in the middle.

It's a movement peddled by Jewish oligarchs who made most of their fortune through rent-seeking. I hate it and I'm not trying to reconcile absolutism with libertarian economics, as if such a thing could even be done. I support direct democratic mechanisms, frequent rotation in office, popular nationalism, and republicanism. By no stretch of the imagination am I reactionary. If I miraculously got to play the part of "enlightened despot" for a week, I'd nationalize the great majority of "private" industries of scale and then immediately transform them into private co-ops with easily transferable ownership distributed evenly among their workers.
