I think it's a little imprecise. For instance, it groups syrians and bulgarians together, and it groups Iraqis and afghans together. It kind of just applies the phenotype of one country to the smaller countries surrounding it which is not accurate
For example, the Iran phenotype is accurate for Iran, but not for Iraq or Afghanistan. The Turkey phenotype is accurate for Turkey, but not for Bulgaria or Syria
