>>4140715It's pretty acceptable to be into shonen/seinen anime amongst most people I'd say, granted if you're talking to turbonormies whose only hobbies are drinking, watching tiktok and sometimes playing COD or FIFA then yeah you might be considered a bit odd but even then I think the stigma has faded a lot as long as you aren't into slice of life/"girly" stuff. Weabs talk about anime undergoing a large shift after covid where most people started picking it up out of boredom and imposing their sensibilities onto it making the community gay or whatever, but I'm not a massive anime fan so I can't really speak on it
