From the predominance of irreligion#, O Krishna, the women of the family become corrupted.
When the women are corrupted, O Varsneya, the mixed race* is born.
By these faults of the family-destroyers, those who give birth to the mixed race*, the eternal community religion and family religion# are destroyed.

In Bhagavad Gita 1.40-1.41, Arjuna is expressing his fear that the war will destroy the social and familial order. He argues that:
