<Literally the only way to stop this behaviour is by doing exactly what the guy being quoted is doing, i.e shaming it out of existence by associating it with acute retardation and attention seeking behaviour, thereby making it as uncool as possible. Similar to this is the almost fivefold decline in the amount of young people identifying as non binary/gnc since 2021 caused by gender nonconformity no longer being sufficient in establishing victim status, and also viewed as cringe and performative by most people outside of BlueSky or ultra liberal college campuses.
