FBI career: Joined under J. Edgar Hoover in 1951; served in Mobile, Knoxville, New York, Albuquerque, New Haven, and Philadelphia. He headed the Memphis (1973), Dallas (1975), and Los Angeles (1977) field offices, and in 1979 was among the finalists for FBI director.
Post-FBI: Founded Ted L. Gunderson and Associates in Santa Monica and became a defense investigator in the 1980 for Green Beret Dr. Jeffrey R. MacDonald, obtaining a confession from Helena Stoeckley alleging a "Black Cult" involvement.
Conspiracy work: Became a leading figure in the 1980s "satanic panic" (including the McMartin preschool case) and later promoted theories about the Oklahoma City bombing, the 1993 WTC bombing, Sonny Bono's death, and the "New World Order." The Southern Poverty Law Center described him as a pivotal figure in the anti-government "patriot" movement.

He had LtC (US Army) Michael Aquino on the Geraldo Show accusing him of Pedophilia and Child Trafficking. Michael was close friiends of Anton LeVay Satan Church and formed his own Demonic Tribe of Temple Set.
