I can't remember. I can't seem to cry, even when I think it would be appropriate

In my first year after moving out of my parent's house, my sister gifted me a puppy, she was the runt of the litter. I named her Mel (Honey) because of her color scheme. She got pregnant (accidentally, my fault for letting her loose and not neutering her) and gave birth to three puppies overnight, one died and I cared for the other two. Mel would die to eclampsia. Nasty business. Agitation, stiffness, tremors, seizures and collapse, with all of the extra stuff (poop, piss). I remember just crying whilst driving and finding some random plot of land and burying her there. I never really got over it, I really loved that dog. That was my first cry since I was a kid. It made me resentful. My aunt is a veterinarian, she's reached out with good breeds and the such but I can't bring myself to love another dog. I donated her two offspring. Fate is a cruel thing because the one that looked exactly like her was the one that died

Is it kind of gay to cry after fighting with my family?

The first time I cried in years was when I was in the worst spot in my life and tried mushrooms for the first time
