You only have to be rich if you buy it in Wine Country like Sonoma California or Orange County areas where ranch towns exist.
maybe Santa Barbara or part of Wyoming or Colorado is pricey
most ranch land is fairly cheap. you could buy one for 250k-500k. that's not Rich.
