Also, on the basis of it all is about animals that have been given giblets of a person. It is fundamentally in essence about an animalistic form as opposed to the human, the man.
While somefurfag would retort by saying it has a human brain or otherwise is humanised in some aspect, that doesn't take away from the animalism within it. That part still exists- its a hybrid.
And in art, this is very poignant because of what art is: it is recreating something. It is drawing a field that doesn't exist or writing about a hero in an alternate world or making a brilliant portrait of someone you know. So when someone takes themselves as a basis then removes the human from themselves, and then adds in parts of animals, on a page- what does that mean? What does that show about the authors view of themselves? I can hardly say that implicitly reducing yourself to a more primitive and animalistic form is a good thing and I will say why in the latter parts of this message.
It would be similar as if I decided to draw myself but take a foot off my height, add 300 lb and put myself in a wheelchair. No good person would do this.
Never minding whether a good person look at this lesser version of themselves, and go "this is me, the best of me, what I should be!"
There continues to also be a poorer view of the self in art even when not self inserting into an anthropomorphised animal. say; porn. When humans engage in sex, why is it? Why do people want to perform such activities? It is because of that pleasure it gives you, but fundamentally, why does it give you such pleasure not just of the body but of the mind? It is because it satisfies you. Why does eating icecream make you happy? because you love icecream. You like icecream. You are gaining something from it. I can also induce this from the opposite. When a devout christian engages in pre-marital sex, he would feel bad; guilty, immoral, sinful and such. While the physical pleasure would be there- for him it'd be tainted. Why? Because it doesn't satisfy what he wants. He doesn't think he has gained a true value.
Applying it to furfags, why do furries masturbate to anthropomorphic animals? Why do furries engage in sex wearing animal heads and tails, while covered in fur? Why do furries hide their human faces and don animal ones? It is because they enjoy it. They think it is a value to them. It brings them pleasure. But more specifically why? Why this pleasure? Why not this pleasure; this feeling from engaging in regular sex with someone not wearing such costume? Why jerk off to this anthropomorphic animal rather than a human?
It is because of the main characteristics: what is different between a humanised animal versus a human? It is precisely that; the animal, the primitive, the decivilized and irrational. It is about loosening the divide between a human, who can think and act act accordingly; who is rational. Verus an animal who cannot think and acts on mere senses: the irrational.
These are not good things, while furries think they do, which is why they do them.
So in social life, artistic expression and in sexual pleasure, it is fundamentally about animals; the animal, the barbarian- the irrational. It is anti human. But more importantly, it is to ask about whether such irrationality and the love of it that is seen in furries, is bad? Yes. Most definitely.
