So I'm 21 and I've always been a quiet kid and I'm extremely sensitive to embarrassment or confrontation. I've been very quiet and stoic around my parents to the point where if I say " I love you too" they're like omg he said that. I'm not the best at socializing and my friends make fun of me for it but now I'm at a point where I'm constantly behaving like my parents are around. A girl was showing interest in me and I was talking to her in an intimate way then I got a panic attack because I felt embarrassed because I felt like my parents were witnessing the entire thing. I'm so anxious where I'm living with daily brain fog and it keeps getting worse as I get older. My dad has an ego and has gotten aggressive in public but has dramatically calmed down over the years. Most of you guys will say as I move out I will change my perspective but every time I think about that I get emotional because I wasn't the best of son (yes I behaved and got good grades but I never showed appreciation or love)
