I was theorizing a possible "thermobaric grenade" design by turning a can of propane into a cheap and simple BLEVE with metal ball bearings to achieve fragmentation. I think it would be most effective strapped to a cheap alibaba drone and flown into a pookrainian or a shitsraeli. Even if it doesn't kill, it's likely to blind, injure, and burn the victim
It's also extremely simple to make and the detonator is just a gas soaked rag wrapped around the outside to heat up the canister and induce the BLEVE effect where it will ignite using the oxygen in the air making a small thermobaric vacuum. Alternatively, adding an oxidizer of some sort will remove the thermobaric effect but make the explosion faster and more violent, and more likely to have a greater greater shockwave and second order effects
