So much has happened in the past 25 years that it doesn't really phase me anymore. The last time something surprised me a bit was Jan 6. I don't believe he deserved to be killed, and it did the left no favors, but I'm not very familiar with him either. His death demonstrated how divided we truly are, and that the left is not above lowly behavior. It looked like a collective lashing out from a political faction quickly losing power, but things change fast. The left vs. right battle is far from over.
