"Not guilty by reason of insanity" should not be a thing for irreversible crimes like murder. I can't believe that this is considered a controversial position because this is common sense. If you are so crazy that you literally don't know that killing people is bad then you should be removed from our society, permanently and decisively - we don't owe you the right to roam free and commit crimes with no punishment. And in the words of a very smart guy from the past (I don't remember who that was):

There was a case in Russia where they caught a serial killer who stabbed multiple little girls to death, they sent him to a mental institution, and 5 years later he came back "sane" and killed another girl a month after. There was also a case in America where a woman killed her child, spent 6 years in an institution, got "cured" and went home, gave birth to three more babies, and one day killed all three of them. Now they're trying to let Lindsay Clancy off the hook with the same shit.

Not so fun fact: Canadian law has an "infanticide" clause where if a mother kills her newborn baby she only faces up to 5 years in prison instead of murder charges. This ONLY applies to mothers, not fathers. And she does NOT have to be declared medically insane for this, all she has to do is demonstrate that she "had not yet recovered from the stress of labor or the mental disturbance associated with childbirth", so basically she has to say "I had postpartum :(" and that's it. Actual gynocratic niggerhell.
