Is it normal that every time I wake up I have this enormous surge of adrenaline and depression. I wake up and take a cold shower and it temporarily helps. Anyone know when my abnormal anxiety goes away?

man it up, punk.

not benzos but booze which is essentially the same withdrawals. youd need to give alot more info on how much youve been taking, how long youve been taking it, how long youve been detoxing. my best advice regardless is detox in a hospital benzo/booze withdrawals are the most dangerous and you can legitimately die if you dont taper off properly but it sounds like youve already made it past that anyway if youve woken up a couple times

nervous system damage takes months to heal and is almost always terrible. going back on dr. goystein drugs to escape the agony doesn't fix anything, it just resets you to day 0 and keeps you there until you try again. after about 3-6 months your nerves stop see-sawing back and forth and stabilize again. there's a light at the end of the tunnel and most people who stay clean generally do recover well over the long term.

I've been on Klonopin for 2 months at 1mg. I slowly tapered off and no one knows about this (I took this med from my friend). It's been almost 6 weeks since I stopped. I'm contemplating taking 1mg tomorrow to get through the next 3-5 days. The insecurities, the depression and agoraphobia is way too much for me right now. I've noticed the symptoms are gradually improving and becoming better. I live with my parents so I wouldn't go to the hospital or else they'd know and I hate lying to my parents. The symptoms I'm currently going through looks like this
>goes to sleep
>wakes up with full depression and heavy legs (it feels like I'm at a funeral and I keep thinking of my parents)
>take cold shower,supplement,1500mg of acetaminophen (I feel a bit relieved )
>eats (become super depressed)
>get huge waves of obsessive thoughts and anxiety
>becomes incredibly insecure
>doom scrolls
>light work out and praying
>feels a bit better
>become super angry due to an insecurity
>get a few panic attacks
>call a few friends
>goes to bed

I feel completely dead inside, my back and legs are absolutely killing me. I'm so stiffed

yeah youre not experiencing anything to do with the actual chemical anymore if youve been off it that long and at such a low dose anyway. honestly at this point you might need to taper off the tylenol dude lmfao. you might honestly do better if you went to NA and just talked around with some people who obviously wont be pressuring you into doing stuff and wont judge you for talking about it im sure getting it off your chest in front of actual people would help too. if you have anymore kpins flush them youre already 6 weeks clean and thats easy to fuck up. drink tea or something to mellow you out, i thought it was bullshit too trust me lol.

Are you sleeping just as well in raw hours or is the sleep worse now (including time to fall asleep and hours slept). On that note, nightmares?
<
Have you felt "out of body", an experience like when you have a fever, hallucinations?
<
This seems late stage taper already

 â„–3937667[Quote]

>>3937662
Yeah, don't take them

stop running to the actual hellscape that is the internet and scrolling through trash scientifically designed to stoke your anxiety and paranoia. phone addiction is one of the worst things you can let happen to yourself. it will turn you into a zombie with a broken neck from obsession, shit's more potent than full blown heroin

 â„–3937675[Quote]

>>3937665
I'm sleeping from 10 am to 5 pm
And yes nightmares. Out of body experiences only the first 4 days . >>3937662
But I'm still gonna get better right?
>>3937669
You're right

also working out during GABA withdrawal is an awful idea because your muscles are twitching and going through microtears from your poisoned nerves. this is why your soreness is way worse than expected

I am sorry for the inconsiderate response.

 â„–3937679[Quote]

>>3937675
yeah youll get better as long as you dont take the other Klonopins numbnuts. otherwise youll hit the reset button and be right back here in 2 months. and seriously chill out with the tylenol, trump jokes aside that shit isnt good for you like that.

a good solution is to install a bunch of temu shopping apps o algo that constantly spam you with meaningless trash notifications that irritate you every time you look at your phone. then put it on silent, put the 3 people you actually care to ever hear from on the whitelist. then toss it in a corner and don't touch it unless you're going to talk to someone you actually know irl. who the fuck cares what you miss, they can leave a voicemail. I'm down to less than 3 minutes a day on average

May have done a massive ESL, but late stage taper means you're doing as good as can be done basically. Know that you'll keep feeling like shit for a while still

 â„–3937684[Quote]

I am titrating off of a 2 mg daily prescription of the same drug right now, they have me on 1.5mg and I am yet to experience any effects

A benzo is a benzo is a benzo, don't try alternative benzo options btw thinking it'll improve

gonna disagree here. 1500mg acetaminophen is nothing. withdrawal sucks enough and stresses you out so badly that the stress damage from trying to tough it out is easily worse than the damage of taking a largely nonaddictive painkiller. if it suppresses the storm enough for him to be able to consistently work out then it's obviously doing good things. he is however torturing himself trying to work out in this condition though.

>>3937711
if that isnt it then idk what. 1500mg of tylenol isnt alot sure but neither is 1mg or klonopin a day for a couple months either (while obviously worse). probably more at play here even open hasnt caught on to or isnt telling us because after 6 weeks he should be well beyond detox and back to functioning normal physically at least. idk man id definitely just get a physical and maybe some blood tests because that doesnt sound normal at all in my experience

 â„–3937723[Quote]

>>3937711
It's absolutely torture and I do a very light 15 minute workout
>>3937679
There's only 6 pills remaining and I have 2 weeks of work left (only working 3 days, after tomorrow, 4 of September and 12 of September) I was thinking of taking two pills those days to socialize and be able to sleep. I know isolated incidents don't create physical dependence. 5 minutes ago I was having an anxiety attack and now I feel unusually calm. I just can't take this feeling anymore
>>3937711
Please help me I beg you
>>3937684
1.5mg is still a high dose and it stays in your body for over 4 days. You'll notice the effects when you're at 0.5mg but hopefully you do it really really slowly. How long have you been on the drug? Do you feel good and functional on it? I felt amazing on it

 â„–3937727[Quote]

>>3937721
I'm getting a blood test in 3 weeks and I have an appointment with a doctor in 4 weeks. According to the Internet and based on my overall progression, I shoulf be back at my baseline in 2-4 months

>don't try alternative benzo options btw
I said that because OP asked in another thread for alternative benzos to help him, tylenol is not a benzo

When you started tapering off, how did you go about it? You were on 1mg, what did you do next and at what dose were you when you suddenly stop? My doses were extremely high, so I had to decrease them by 25% every two weeks until zero
