It's the definition of low risk low reward in my eyes, whereas posting under a name feels very high risk and high reward. I have for most of my life been a risk averse person so it makes sense I tend to post here instead of anywhere else. I've tried using a forum in the past but I just ended up feeling incredibly embarrassed with every one of my replies because I felt I had to hold myself to a higher standard even if I'm only shitposting on a dead website, as well as scrutinizing everything I said after the fact, so I never managed to amass more than 20 total posts, and obviously no recognition.
