They each are part of a specific etnicity made up of different Older inherited etnicities

and lets not even touch etnocultural groups, different peoples that share similar etnic backgrounds are kft different etnicities (gauchos and bandeirantes are both the mix of iberian with native, yet different groups, same for mexican regions, central america, the Caribbean, south north america)
this idea of a mixed person is something very new, through history you were of one race, you could have more than one etnicity in your ancestry sure but you were of one race
