>>3910260>white nationalist, homophobic, transphobic>libertarianHow would this be possible? The reason I personally have a hard time coming around to libertarianism is because I think a lot of what it hinges on (consent) can't exist independent of social forces. Most people aren't really rational and free actors and their opinions are wholly products of what they've been told by the state, the media, the algorithm, their culture, forces larger than themselves. If there isn't a state which imposes a morality and sense of right and wrong in the populace, most people are free to be misled and it becomes an issue of who has the most reach in influencing their thoughts and minds, many of these influencing parties only wishing to do so to turn a profit (cigarette companies, drug dealers, homosexuals) or out of ideological perversion.
<The same applies to most communities that operate on a volunteer model, where you opt-in to join (I think libertarians have a specific word for this, but I can't remember it). Most people wouldn't opt in unless they have been sufficiently led to believe a community is better than where they're already living, and if the dominant cultural forces (manipulated by the most wealthy corporations) have primed them to believe that human sacrifice and transgenderism is good, then most people would not want to join a white nationalist clittycel compound in the middle of nowhere and it would be destined to fail.
