I remember that one character of mine who was the king of Bavaria and I just wanted to chill, plant some seeds for future conquests/diplomacy through strategic marriages, farm renown, etc. but the nobles just kept electing me as the Kaiser then deposing me through civil wars then the next Kaiser would get deposed or die prematurely and ill and the cycle repeats, it happened 4 times before I said fuck it and won the civil war, taking away the lands of the rebels and installing my dynasty forever.
