I could go to the town market, walk into a bar or a restaurant and use the toilet if needed, hell, I even went to a headshop which doesn't have a have a toilet for customers, but as a customer, I asked nicely and he pointed it to me in the staff area. "Asiakaspalvelu kunniaan", he said.
Is this the difference between the third world and a high trust society?
Most, if not all major cities here have public bathrooms like the ones in the picrel, so you don't even need to visit establishments if you gotta go

And to be humble, I'll admit I've been to a one, single paid restroom and it was within a tiny town which was bascially a strip of road with some buildings scattered around it.
They don't get much traffic there so I understand and support their 2EUR fee to use the toilet, but this thread is about public places in cities.
