I love balkanizing stuff like making the UK England, Wessex, Northumbria taking north and middle, Scotland divided between Scotland and Evil Scotland, Ulster taking up all of Norther Ireland (I like to think they genocided everyone else), Cornwall Wales Guernsey Isle of Man and also Kingdom of the Isles, and Fish and Chips Empire with a single province because angloidim currently are quirky silly sausage whilst being the worst so I like to imagine in the middle of total collapse they thought it was funny to establish a regency for whatever cracker like Binface or something. Then I like to make big powerful empires like the German Polish Commonwealth and the Austro Italian Empire, whilst I play as Arstotzka taking parts of Belarus and Russia, I left like a com and mon opposition but the fash gov has most of the whole Nation so the civil war ends in my side winning. Like building Europe is fun, you play as the big empire trying not to have war declared on you by other big empires as you raise the stakes by attacking all your small neighbors, or you play as a small Nation slowly building yourself up. My problem is Africa and the Americas, apart from America where I made a loosely TFR civil war (Deus Vult instead of NSM, Kekistan instead of ATM, I don't remember who I put instead of PF, zombies have their capital in Detroit, I justify Kekistan by splitting up Florida amongst many governments, UN, neoconfederates, lolberts, there's the US against the Union, much of the South seceededed as independent), I barely have anything on the rest without natives and lmao I'm not slowing down the game for like a few bordergore govs, the best I could do is have a war with Bolivian and Peruvians versus an attempted union of the two countries, it wouldn't be bad to play it early game maybe but there's too many big Nations, the Caribbean Nations mostly offer too little land which means to get more you need to declare so many wars your neighbors will end up invading you over it. I keep Canada and Mexico as they are, I like they can technically intervene in America…well the Americas aren't *too bad* but Africa is, it's mostly unchanged apart from stuff like Azaward Cabinda Somaliland and Western Sahara having Cape Juby, plus the Rif Republic being a standalone, Rwanda has like two or three provinces of Congo-Kinshasa, yeah not a lot. Do you have any idea what to change there?

>>3889301Doebeit the 'groids on the tube that constantly demand things from lukaz are retarded since its one guy managing it all.
№3889316[Quote]
>>3889301Try a game where nukes demand a low enough technology level, so you're forced to constantly expand and capitulate your enemies as soon as possible lest they make your population too low, if that happens you have mercenaries but you still need to pay them, it's fun racing against the clock like that. Tbf it depends how you play, sometimes the USSR is a monster and all you get is a meatgrinder where the peace deal sees no provinces gained or lost, I remember a game for that matter where Nogai which has just a few provinces took up like 310-350 provinces, it held almost all of Russia and went as far as Alaska, I had a technology level too low so I had to scour as much as possible whilst deterring any naval invasions, it took several wars for those bastards to finally go down
№3889319[Quote]
>>3889308Question did you play the game? Or like know who the guy is? He took years to make a remake of the second game which shines in part just because he added features of the third game, he didn't fix several bugs, ruined the flag system, and was lazy using AI for some graphics iirc
№3889323[Quote]
>>3889303Of course you don't care, because Turks nowadays LARP being religious or nationalist since that's their whole personality
№3889331[Quote]
>>3889316I think what makes AOH not fun or not as challenging is that it purely relies on numbers bigger number = win, AOH3 tried fixing this by introducing tech which was alright
I don't know what to feel about nukes since if you make the tech level to get them low other ais can get them resulting in bullshit where you go to war with one state and your population gets halved due to nukes.

>>3889293Italian, yep, and also Turkish & Iberian
№3889338[Quote]
>>3889319I've played the original AOH2, definitive and 3, lukaz is pretty shitty and clearly just makes sequels to drive up hype and get money and abandons them right after or puts in minimal post release effort, I'm saying is that the groids that expect HOI4 polish are retarded as lukaz, lukaz is douchy for not updating the games and abandoning them doebeit.

>>3889331Mh, trve. Also I should've added, it's fun if you maximize AI aggressiveness and make assimilation as fast as possible, short but fun.
>>3889338I mean if people play AOH it's because it's simple and you can perfectly finish an entire game in a sitting, his fanbase knows it, I don't think I've seen anyone expecting that level of polish but admittedly I, uh, I don't participate in 'cords or anything and fans of the series barely mention it, I've had quite enough interactions but I guess, well idk what people say on Steam n stuff. Also do people pay for those games? Don't they just download a free vers given they're lighter than other war games but still complex enough to be fun?
>>3889353You played The Bozo Rises? Was perhaps the first I tried and really managed to replicate TFR well within the mechanics of AOH aldoe sometimes it'd just not do stuff properly, like if I invaded the Caucasus and Central Asia it'd give me events later about those and spawn me a lot of soldiers, another time I didn't invade them expecting to be given soldiers…and I got none, war with the Ukraine started and I was totally unprepared. I played a few other mods but mostly stuff to add scenarios or flags or Nations or other stuff cuz any event-ful mods I didn't know if they'd warn me properly of what's to happen or just assume I automatically know, and I don't feel like reading the source material or the events tab in the editor
