sadly there are no chinks to debate this, but I think the chinese are not expansionist, they just want their piece of the cake (a secured sphere of influence). they are merchants, but with a country, so they're not as subversive as jews or anglos (a nation with a country, but seafaring). mind you, they've been geographically locked and inwards for literally their entire history.
