It would also be a smoothbore, making accuracy and range total shit. Rifling the barrel requires at least a lathe or some other precision machinery. Just the slightest inconsistency in a rifling spiral can blow the gun up also. Yes, people make guns in Pakistan, but if it's an AK, they typically use scrounged parts or at least have access to a proper lathe. Your average criminal isn't gonna have all these resources. Even if they whip something up, they're liable to wind up like doorcuck in Germany. Homemade firearms are not known for being reliable weapons. No one can ban bow and arrows, since our caveman ancestors were able to make those with zero resources other than nature, but guns are a step above that.
