Following the recent years, high speed drones have been utilized to carry explosives to a target, and eliminate it. This post condemns illegal violence, and is only for educational and speculation purposes.
These drones carry plastic explosives remotely detonated from distances, or mortars and landmines that explode on impact. In case of a situation where a target has to be eliminated in an urban, civliian setting, drone operators can simple find shelter in an isolated room with a signal transmitter on the outside to operate the explosive drone to the target. This serves to protect the perpetrator from identification and counter assaults from law enforcement, private or other public security.
Besides the protection from outside forces. The drone itself can reach speeds as fast as 500 kilometers an hour, though mostly 100 kilometers an hour, that means a high speed explosive which operator cannot be tracked down efficiently.
Now imagine how the assasination of public figures would look like. They are holding a speech or interview outside, with 8 or 10 security officers surrounding them. But all these men have are hand pistols. Guns that are not designed to take down a high speed explosive projectile from the air. None of these men are prepared, trained or perhaps willing to do something against such a force.
The payload will result in a deadly medium range explosion, which can kill and injure multiple targets at once. Other factors such as shrapnel and fire play too. Even if the security team uses jammers, the perpetrator can still use a connecting wire attached to the drone which can go for miles.
Multiple drones can be used in these kind of explosive attacks. They can come from anywhere. Besides, you will have a large recruitable and radicalized population of experienced drone operators after a few years. They are high speed, deliver powerful damage, ensure fatality, and relatively cheap to acquire considering the goals that are achieved.

A simple anti tank mine can decimate a small building. That is a mini guided missile when put on a drone
â„–3715429[Quote]
>>3715423anti take mines are too big for such fast fpv ideas doe
the payloud would have to be pretty small but since its for single unarmoured target its snca
â„–3715432[Quote]
>>3715429I think plastic explosives are light weight enough
â„–3715435[Quote]

â„–3715436[Quote]
>>3715429Nah you don't need anti tank mines to assassinate people
Drone are staple here in Myanmar everbaldi use them

In the future we wont even have people fight wars we'll all just have drones flying around
â„–3715473[Quote]
>>3715471Not really
Perhaps AI powered tanks that go alongside APCs
â„–3715474[Quote]
>>3715464Drones are the future unfortunately they are too powerful and versatile also extremely cheap compared to traditional fire arms
â„–3715477[Quote]
>>3715474It is just a cheap guided rocket that can be manually adjusted
â„–3715480[Quote]
>>3715474I mean yea even for the ones that cost 2000 thats nothing for the millitary budget compared to missile systems and aircraft

>>3715481>>3715480>>3715478>>3715477Tsmt here they are basically nu artillery since they are way more precise and arguably faster than AT shells also less friendly fire cases. Shotting them down is not a easy task even in the Ukraine Russia front where the terrains are very flat.
â„–3715499[Quote]
>>3715497meds, drones are short ranged and dont replace artillery
â„–3715503[Quote]
Why would anyone want to kill politicians? That's not happening outside 007 thrillers so this thread is dumb
â„–3715504[Quote]
>>3715499They don't ofc but they does the exact job of the AT in the small skirmishes and ambush missions
â„–3715508[Quote]
>>3715499They do, FPVs regularly operate at the same range or even longer range than some artillery does.
