The Minions and Monsters can only be described as a glowing praise of fascism and the triumph of man over nature but few will understand this.

The film opens with a group of modern Americans seeing the great artists of cinema. As the tour progresses, the middle aged instructor shows off a statue of two male Minions and says they are the greatest directors ever and changed the world. Obviously the crowd doesn't know who they are but the middle aged instructor must explain how great these two liberals are. This represents how teachers do this all the time with their mythologies and keep adding characters and act as if you are uncultured for not knowing who they are. She then begins the backstory. We see that the Minions are an ancient tribe who serve the greatest strongmen in history, the Napoleons, Caesars, etc. Among this group are the dysgenic and liberal James and Henry. James cares more about pursuing the arts than his tribe while Henry is a deeply unserious liberal. They soon form a pact with the spiteful and disabled Ed. In one of their periods of servitude, James and Henry accidentally murder their leader due to their selfishness and then steal a book from him Of course, this book is modeled after the Quran. After the death of their leader, the minions find themselves in the desert during the 1920s. While there, the minions begin fighting and Ed attacks the leader. The leader, Dick, is himself modeled after Nixon. Both being strong men in California with the same name, they are mistreated and usurped. This fight ends when they see a strongman and chase after him. They end up discovering this is a film scene and James and Henry lead the minions into becoming actors under the guise of a filmmaker named Max. Max works for two greedy businessmen and Max himself is a short, big nosed man. The Minions rapidly fall into decadence as actors. They live in a mansion, play games and leave their warrior past behind them. They produce movies for a while but eventually the businessmen grow tired of them and replace them. Without work, the Minions become homeless and lost. This represents the mass migration into the United States during the period and the subsequent economic disaster. Dick decides he must take control of the situation and lead the Minions back into their warrior past. Meanwhile, Ed, Henry and James decide they must make a movie. These three will be referred to as the liberals, and they choose to betray their tribe in pursuit of making a film. The liberals use their Quran modeled book to summon a demon who instructs them to free more demons. At this same time, the Minions roam the street until they discover Dort. Dort is a silver clad man of the future. He is shown to be different from those around him and to have poor social skills. When harassed, he crushes his abusers with ease. This causes the Minions to follow after this great man of the future. Dort is shown to live in a small apartment with a roommate named Floyd who does nothing and just leaches. His elderly childless cat lady neighbor is cruel to him despite his kindness. He observes that humanity is weak and must be changed. With this, he leads his Minions to conquer the planet. The Minions and Dort take to the street in a scene mirroring the March on Rome. The Minions are strong and march with force, putting their enemies to shame. A child mocks Dort, and in response, Dort plans to kick the kid to the cheers of his supporters. Until a feminist appears, this feminist named Debbie explains you just can't kick children because of the social rules and then marches off to a women's rights march. Despite Debbie being a far left feminist and Dort a post-liberal fascist, she falls in love with this futuristic tyrant. Dort becomes distracted from his mission as he pursues a relationship with the feminist and quits his plans to remake humanity for the course of this relationship. The liberal Minions under the counsel of demons choose to summon a demon from the book modeled after the Quran. This demon known as the Destroyer of Worlds is of course a woman named Irene. Henry tries to object but the demons trick James and Ed and Henry is nearly sacrificed to this demon because James ignored his friend's plea. Irene is released and begins destroying things which leads the liberals to realize the demons are planning to destroy the world and not engage in the liberal arts. Irene begins destroying the city, absorbing everything into her grasp.

Irene is a living longhouse. Irene is communism, Irene is the matriarchy, and Irene is demonic. Seeing the liberals being chased, Dick with no hesitation says we must defend the tribe. He sends half the Minions to fight now and half to follow Dort. Dort takes control of the situation, ignoring the whining of Debbie the feminist and leads his Minions to his apartment. The powers that be fail to stop Irene but the Minions steal their equipment and begin to fight back. It is a losing battle but it lets them save the liberals who learn they must stand with the tribe to win. Together, they are strong warriors. This whole scene is rife with imagery of the Freikorps which once saved Germany. Dort takes charge of his band of Minions and silences his critics, including the feminist Debbie. He arms the Minions and soon leads them straight into the jaws of death. These Minions are like Yamnaya Steppe Warriors conquering nature and the longhouse. Using their technology and courage, Dort and the Minions triumph over demons and annihilate all of their enemies. The film ends with the Minions restored to their rightful place as conquering warriors. Dort is powerful and has a family. The Minions are free from liberalism and big business learning to serve the tribe.

In short, the movie shows the Minions fully adapting fascism and becoming the warriors they were destined to be. Dort frees himself from feminism. The Minions reject liberalism. The film is a right wing masterpiece.

Sorry that the post isn't the most comprehensive but I wrote it as soon as I got out of the theater. There is a lot of other details as well such as the Miniona carrying torches, which invokes the March at Charlottesville.

This film belongs next to the Incredibles and Angry Birds as rightist masterpieces.
