>>3682658 (OP)While the US like all western nations is perceiving a decline in what was once considered to be free due to race politics like DEI or left-wing groups trying to facilitate incarceration for any petty reason thus creating an identity advantage for "minorities" like for women who falsely accuse men of sexual assault without proof and so jeopardizing his life (this should NOT be allowed) and black people criticizing/hurting white people with no recourse while the opposite is frowned upon and met with "justice", many such cases BUT in my opinion the US remains as of now the leader of the free world, the sheer fact that you can express your opinion (of course it cannot be one that threatens the lives of others) whilst mentioning culprits of said crimes, will it be politicians, unidentified criminals etc… without fearing jail is in fact something that the entire civilized west should strive for.
Not to mention gun rights which should be extended to every citizien as the common people's safety is of upmost importance will it be indoors or outdoors, a gun is the only measure to defend oneself and the fact that only the US is able to yield such commodity, believe me, makes it one very sought after place to live in, myself included.
So yeah I believe the US is still the leader in freedom even though ,like the entire west, is visibly shaken by the corruption of the left.
