Previously a thug operating in cinemas to either coerce a tribute or sell counterfeit tickets to passerbys, he left his main profits of mugging to organize a posse of bandits masquerading as communist hunters to be in line with the recent Red Scare the failed 30th September Movement that plotted to take hold of the government in 1965. He eventually would connect the posse to the Pancasila Youth to unblur the association of ruthless sadists and pillagers away from their acts of massacre

Previously to this his men would beat them until they're dead head on but Anwar became fussed about the wreck of them staining and reeking the environment. He was supposedly inspired by Mafia executions which I suspect would be within the Godfather movies, as he was a lover of western cinema, and particularly applied the culture of gangster movies into applications of his personal life and methods, hence why he would often perform talks, do drugs or alcohol, and waltz within the killsite to imitate a scene of cinematic unease and detachment with his casual entertaining
