i like it a lot more than the abrahamic religions
it addresses the nature of suffering and how to transcend it rather than blaming it on the "plan" of some supposedly omnibenevolent deity that had to create a world where kids get cancer.. christpilled or something
and buddhist monks are so chill. there's hate in the eyes of many fervent religious practitioners of other religions when they get talking about sinners, but monks are always smiling
i especially like the concept of loving-kindness
