Dzhungars were the biggest threat to the kazakhs as they are the worst enemy we had to go up against,just for your intrest they almost exterminated the entirety of the kazakhs too!
>The Barefooted Flight or also known as the Years of Great Disasters (Kazakh: <<Aqtaban shubyryndy, Alqakol sulama>>) is a name given to the defeat, indiscriminate attacks on civilians and expulsion of the Kazakhs from Kazakhstan from 1723 to 1725/1727. The expulsion and the indiscriminate attacks on civilians included the Senior Juz, Middle Juz and the Junior Juz, as the Kyrgyz and Karakalpaks. As it was described as the "worst case of nomadic-sedentary relations: steppe pastoralists ravaged the cultivated land of sedentary neighbours".[

And so to defeat our worst enemy ever it was almost like a movie:while almost defeated kazakhs unified under one single banner and in 1730 the anyrakay battle was the turning point where we pushed all of the dzhungar enemy tribe out of the steppes,and in the turn of events the qing empire finished already beaten dzhungars off,securing the boarders and defining the 18th century as a kazakh win!
