It is genuinely sad, they were facing extinction. Truman singed off on a thing that would have killed a lot of innocent German civilians after the war, the only reason it didn't go through was because it got leaked to the press by some whistle blower (hero) The Russians were worse, the war crimes they committed rival Japan and Epstien… Plus the bombings, Dresden, and fall of Italy… must have been horrible…
