Root (officially stylized as ROOT), also known as Snopes Fact Check,[4] was a manager and later administrator of soyjak.party during Froot's ownership. He served as an admin from March 17, 2024 to July 9, 2024.[5] Root also paid Froot's website and server bills for him from December 2023 until July 2024.

Ethnically Indian, Root was an IRL friend of Froot in Italy, and was brought on as manager not long after Froot's purchase of the site. He became an admin after Froot stepped backed from daily operations while still owning the site. Towards the end of his tenure, he faked his removal as admin and larped as NuAdmin for a month. He resigned as admin in July 2024 and what would initially be known as the Janny Cabal took his place after that, with Froot announcing that there would be 4 anonymous admins (though most of the staff would be de-anonymized by the time Quote was made owner). Root remains removed from modern Soysphere administration and has been mostly radio silent.

Root was mostly unpopular and considered to be one of the worst admins in soyjak.party's history. This is due to his antagonistic nature towards soyteens, vocal endorsement and propagation of Ongezellig and NAS /qa/ culture, Discord usage, multiple information psy-ops, unpopular UI changes, allowing Ronald to datamine, as well as allowing the site to constantly experience server downtime or dropped hosting under his reign. Root considered himself as Admin 6 on several occasions, once stating that he "wants the Admin 6 shit to die with him".

Root was the first Nojak admin in soyjak.party herstory.
