In recent years, there has been a surge in drug-related criminality committed by very young people. Whether it's killing the head of a drug gang in Germany, or throwing big fireworks into the house of people of a rival group.

Those acts are often done by teens who are often recruited via social media, for which they get a little bit of money. They sometimes get more cash if they record the attack.

Interestingly, the perpetrators have been getting younger and younger. Sometimes the attackers are so young that you can't even send them to prison (e.g. in Austria you have to be 14 years old to get punished by the state).

Now I'm thinking: What if the recruiters don't have anything to do with drugs? What if they're politically motivated? Could it be that people would recruit teens to commit killings, without experiencing any repercussions?

Do you think this could be the reality in a few years, or is it too far-fetched?
