is this normal cat behavior or is my cat just unusually obsessed with supervising my bathroom trips?

my cats do either this or the opposite. theres a shitty window they can look out from and whenever i go to the toilet they immediately flee, but the other half who doesnt do dis tries to open the door and screams if i dont open it
