If it's not of those ultra specific character with SNCA designs in their clothes you could just buy their clothing as a piece not meant to be cosplay. For example dracula, he's wearing a coat known as a frock coat. You should buy a frock coat meant as an actual item of clothing rather than cosplay. Most of the time your best deals will be second hand so keep an eye on the flea market

You can buy a cheap shitty cosplay for 100 bucks off of amazon
You can buy a real high-quality brand cosplay for anywhere from 200 - 1000 dollars
or you can dedicate copious amounts of your time learning to sew and make your own cosplay

That's what i've seen over the years with WW2 larping at least
