I used to be a reddit atheist who hated christchads because i thought they were dumb and ignorant of soyence or something, and weren't reasonable. But now i believe i have finally hit rock bottom in my life and there is such a lack of order and purpose around me that i want to believe in a god and stop being a selfish doomer. Or at least find community in a church of like minded people. Maybe it's not the divine belief itself, but churches definitely provide an accepting community and hopeful mindset that my personal life lacks.
